Computing Earth at scale

I am a Research Engineer in the Performance Team for Earth Sciences at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center.

My work focuses on understanding and modelling the computational behaviour of large coupled simulations: profiling components, identifying bottlenecks, tuning parallel execution, and improving scalability and resource efficiency. I also develop automated load-balancing software to help scientists optimize coupled simulations. The goal is to make better use of HPC resources and enable increasingly complex scientific simulations to run efficiently at scale.
